Efraín y Laura Benítez son originarios de México. Tienen 20 años de casados y 9 años de matrimonio sacramentado. Tienen tres hijos, Diana de 20, Kevin de 13 y Génesis de 6 años de edad. Llegaron a los Estados Unidos en el 2004 y desde el 2009 han estado involucrados en Encuentro Matrimonial sirviendo en diferentes capacidades, incluyendo pareja presentadora. Pertenecen a la parroquia de St. Thomas More donde han participado como catequistas, proclamadores de la palabra y danzantes de matachines.
